Why do I need to have laboratory testing done on my products?
There have recently been dramatic changes in legislation regarding imports into the United States! For example, all children’s products are now under intense scrutiny for product safety, and need to be in compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Information Act of 2008. Many other types of consumer products must adhere to strict safety standards. For example, the flammability of fabric or the different metals used in jewelry!

Our state of the art, full service laboratories have been accredited to a strict code of conduct by most, if not all, domestic and international accreditation organizations, including the Consumer Product Safety Commission.

We represent two companies in Europe and four in Asia. Each company employs over 200 English speaking managers and inspectors.

What is the average turn around time to perform a product inspection?
The inspection is completed five to ten days from the date we receive an approval from you, depending on the depth of our experience with your product. Reports are emailed to you within 24 to 36 hours of each inspection.

What is the cost of these product testing services?
You only pay for the services that you need. Thus, we normally charge on a per test, or a per diem basis, plus expenses. Once we know the location of your supplier and the average size of the shipments, we can quickly confirm an all-inclusive quote.

In what products is Global Quality Services experienced?
After more than 30 years of professional experience, there are very few consumer products that we have not been involved with. As one of our clients is fond of saying "If I can import it, then I know you can inspect and test it."
